TELES treats VoIP-Gateways to a DSL Modem

With its VoIPBox DSL, TELES has refined the highly acclaimed IP Gateways even further: the integrated DSL modem puts an end to the complex co-existence of telephony and internet infrastructure. That means: less work for network management, lower costs and more security.

Berlin, September 2, 2013. The Berlin telecommunications expert TELES has fitted its well-proven VoIP Gateways with a high-capacity DSL router. The VoIPBox DSL has a DSL modem and additionally up to four ISDN interfaces. This means the VoIP Gateway combines a unique variety of applications in one unit: the ADSL2+/VDSL modem ensures a high transmission rate for fast surfing on the Internet. The highly-precise 5 ppm ISDN clock makes sure that DECT and Fax functionality is steadily supported.

"The VoIPBox DSL with its integrated modem combines the equipment for telephony and Internet which up to now had been separate," said Oliver Olbrich, Chief Operating Officer at TELES. "This reduces installation time, eliminates error sources in the company network, saves work for network management and ultimately saves investment and operating costs."

The VoIPBox DSL is specially designed for the requirements of small and medium-sized companies. Existing ISDN PBXs and terminals can be easily connected and remain active. Convenient telephony functions, high transmission rates, and the brilliant voice quality ensure a wide variety of application scenarios.
